2024 Nomination Procedures for Elected Offices

Nominations are open for the Alaska REALTORS® officer positions:

  • 2025 President-Elect: Open to ALL Local Associations. This position is a three-year commitment: 2025 (President-Elect), 2026 (President) and 2027 (Past-President).
  • 2025 Secretary-Treasurer: Open to ALL Local Associations. This position is a one-year term, with the ability to run for a consecutive term in 2026 if desired.

 

The 2024 Election will be held electronically between September 6 -September 19, 2024. Election will close September 19, 2024 at 5:00 pm. Election results will be announced at the General Membership Meeting on Friday, September 20, 2024.

Deadline to file for office is August 2, 2024 by 5:00 PM

 

The Credentials Committee will review applicants in accordance to the qualifying criteria. Only REALTOR® Members shall be eligible to hold office in the association, provided, they have been a REALTOR® member for at least two (2) years prior to their term taking effect on the Board of Directors.  All eligible candidates must have served as either an Officer or Director for a minimum of one year on a local association Board and be a member in good standing.
