2017 AAR Leadership Conference
BP Energy Center - 900 East Benson Boulevard
We are SO excited to announce the 2017 Alaska Association of REALTORS® Leadership Conference, which will take place on Tuesday, January 3rd & Wednesday, January 4th, 2017* at the BP Energy Center located in Anchorage. This 2017 Leadership Conference is generously sponsored by Yukon Title Company, Residential Mortgage and HSA Home Warranty.
The conference will begin promptly at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 3rd. This year, we will have a very special guest joining us as our Keynote Speaker. Leigh Brown, the 2017 CRS President, will conduct leadership training for all attendees. Later that evening, we will all attend a Dinner Party at The Petroleum Club. We highly encourage all leadership attendees to attend this exclusive dinner so that we all get acquainted and celebrate the upcoming year together. Our special guests will be in attendance. There is a $30/pp fee for the Leadership Conference and that includes one ticket to the Dinner Party that evening. Additional tickets for dinner guests may be purchased for $30 on a first-come, first-served basis.
On Wednesday, January 4th, the conference will start at 9:00am with AAR President Devon Thomas. You’ll receive updates from NAR First VP Elizabeth Mendenhall and Region 12 Vice-President Julie DeLorenzo. After lunch, you’ll receive “Financial Workshop for Board Members” instructed by Viki Kaas. The AAR Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for 2:30pm and should conclude no later than 5:00pm.
*Conference Bonus: On Thursday, January 5th, all 2017 Board of Directors and KWG Chairs are invited to attend a Strategic Planning Session that will be facilitated by Instructor Rick Harris starting at 8:30am. In addition, we will be conducting Professional Standards training on Friday, January 6th, from 9am to 5pm. Both of these events will take place at the BP Energy Center. Both Leigh Brown’s Leadership class and the Professional Standards class are being submitted to the AREC for credit approval. There will be no charge for attending Professional Standards only.
